You Can Never Have Too Much Happy!

One of my favorite people in the whole wide world has a birthday on Friday.
She is a woman that deserves all the happiness she desires.
Happy {Early} Birthday, Fran!

I created this multi-media card for Fran.
The card started with an idea for the tag, then I built the card around it.
To create the tag,  I randomly stamped the sentiment "You can never have too much happy"
and the chicken wire stamp all over the tag, then I spritz it with some mist.
The fantastic camera image is a stamp by Papertrey Ink.
I stamped the camera image onto kraft paper and then die cut the image
using the matching die from Papertrey Ink.  Once the tag was finished I created
the card base (7-1/4" x 4") and mat using coordinating Core'dinations Cardstock.

Supplies:
Cardstock ~ Core'dinations
Stamping Cardstock, Camera & Sentiments Stamps, Die ~ Papertrey Ink
Tag ~ Ranger
Ink ~ Ranger, Tsukineko
Chicken Wire Stamp ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Wishing you some happiness today!

Picture Perfect New Year

I was so happy to get some Unity Stamps in my Christmas stocking this year.  Clearly dear hubby paid attention to my list on Pinterest!  The "just a little....clicky" stamp I used in today's card might just be my favorite.

This is one stamp!  Isn't is simply fantastic?  I stamped the image in auquamarine Archival Ink by Ranger then colored randomly (for the most part) in grey and yellow markers.  I dusted off my Dymo and created the sentiment with it.  It took me less than 10 minutes to make this card!

I am sharing this on:

Charming Times Two!

I love birthdays!
I love to give cards on birthdays!
I can't help myself.
I really do enjoy making cards for special people.

Typically I don't mention my full-time, out-of-the-house
job on my blog.  I am an Office Manager for a Speech-Language
Pathology in Southern Maine.  I love working for a company in which
I believe in the philosophies and respect the work they do.

Last month two absolutely charming young women,
brand new Speech-Language Pathologists,
joined the lot of our wonderful SLPs.
I so enjoy their energy and positive approach!
They both have birthdays this week
and I couldn't help but create cards for both of them.

Loving the new Shutterbug Stamps by Papertrey Ink!
Isn't that camera fantastic?  The detail is splendid.

Please forgive the lighting on card photos.
I took the photos in the wee hours of the morning.
Not sure if it was the lighting or my eyes. :)

Washi tape has become my friend.  It is so versatile!
These tapes are ones that I found at Target.
I couldn't help myself as the colors were fantastic.

To create the heart all I did was randomly place
three strips of Washi Tape on the bottom third of a Tim Holtz Kraft Tag
and then punched a heart towards the right edge.

Happy Birthday Gina & Kristen!!!
