S is for Star

Today is my day to post at Scrappin' Sports & More's Blog.
I created this framed flashcard for my grandson's bedroom.

I designed and printed the flashcard text then added the stars made
from Scrappin' Sports & More papers.  The flashcard is double
mounted and then placed on the background paper .
This will look perfect in Chase's room!

Out of the scraps from the home decor project I created this card.

Scrappy Chics April Reveal

I am so excited to be sharing my design team projects
using Scrap Chics April Kit.  This kit is full of pretty colors,
fantastic paper and yummy embellishments.

Lily is so full of sass and personality.  The photo in "luv ur sass!" captures that perfectly.
The pastels in this month's kit worked as a perfect compliment to the photo.

This year we ventured to the Acton Fair on a very hot August day.
Lily went off galavanting with her friends (teens!).  Scott and I
took this opportunity to take photos of our little friends. We have known Maddie
since before she was born. She is a pip!  She loved
the Super Slide.  Each time she went down her face lit up.

The papers in Scrappy Chics April kit couldn't have been more perfect for the
photos in "Once More Please."  The green and yellow is just so striking.

Scott and I celebrated our 20th anniversary last month.
Instead of making him a typical card I made him a mini chipboard
album full of quotes of love from Beatles songs.
He loved it!
Everything in this mini is from the Scrappy Chics April Kit.
Chipboard, papers, embellishments.  All that goodness!

Pee-Wee Lily

I found this cute photo of Lily tucked away.   Not sure if I scrapped the same photo
years ago or not, but it made me smile and inspired me.

To this date Lily is still a good soccer player.  I often share with you that
she is an athletic girl.  She has been that way since early childhood.

For this layout, I stuck with lots of soccer paper from Scrappin' Sports & More.
I used three different lines of paper and love that they all coordinate making
this a colorful soccer layout.

Scrappy Chics' March Reveal

March is full of goodness at Scrappy Chics
The main kit is filled with lots of Webster's Pages.
The Add-On Kit, which I got to play with, is filled with one of
my favorite manufacturers, Authentique Paper.

This layout just makes me smile...

Nothing is quite straight on this layout, but it works!
In the photo is Lily & two of her best girlfriends (twins), Bai & Bri.
They were having fun showing some little friends of mine how to be silly
while getting their picture taken.  They did a great job.

The photo in "You And Me" is a rare moment.  Not often are there
pictures of Scott & I because one of us is usually behind the camera.

The tag stickers from "Geniune" by Authentique are so fun!
They add color and dimension to any border, cluster or chevron.

Beach pictures and Authentique Paper just seem to go together like yin and yang.
For "Cousins" I used some more beach photos of Lily and her cousins, Syd &
Mitch, on our October beach day.

Pretty sure this month's Scrappy Chics Kits are going to sell out fast.
Be sure to get yours before they do!
