Beatles Fan!

TGIF!  Music is a huge part of our life. The Beatles are undeniably Scott's favorite band.  His love of The Beatles has been passed down to Kass and Lily.  He is so happy to be able to now share it with our grandsons. Today I am sharing simple and colorful layout of my grandson, Chase, documenting the beginning of his Beatles journey with Gramps.

Just one of the things I love about Core'dinations Cardstock is the color core.  I love to use simple techniques to showcase the color core making my layouts so very colorful.

For this layout I had initially chosen a neutral pallete, but knew it was missing a pop of color.  I started by pulling in color through alternating layers of cardstock which I paper tore to show the colored core. I loved the pop of yellow from tearing the Black Magic so I found the perfect match of yellow in the Core Essentials Brights Collection and used that as my background paper.

You'll find my layout on the Core'dinations Blog today, too.  Next time you need a pop of color in your paper project, try tearing your Core'dinations!
