My Core’dinations Creative Frenzy

Core'dinations Cardstock is one of my favorite products to use for my papercrafting,
from cards to layouts to altered projects.  I love how crisp Core'dinations Cardstock
looks when it is embossed and debossed, how sturdy it is with lots of layers, and
how ink (printed or stamped) looks on this fantastic cardstock!

Today, I am sharing three projects I made using Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock products.
Two projects I have shared on my blog before. My third is a brand new multi-fold birthday card.

"I {Heart} NY" is one of my favorite layouts in which I used lots of Core'dinations Cardstock.  I created this layout during a live Ustream class for  Helmar.  I incorporated embossing, scoring, sanding, crinkling and distressing of Core'dinations Cardstock in this layout.

Here is the video of this class:

I had the pleasure of designing projects for CSW distributors to be showcased at this
year's winter CHA.  Nine out of my ten projects for this event were created with
Core'dinations Cardstock.  The "Bursting With Pride" shown above is just one
of those projects.  I love how wonderfully the embossing shows even on the black.
I sanded the embossed images down a bit and added some Glam to make it sparkle.
The Core'dinations Cardstock stayed sturdy even in my wettest spots of Glam!

I created this fun multi-fold birthday card using lots of Coredinations Cardstock. The cover
of my card boasts Core'dination Cardstock that has been embossed, cut into a poloroid shape,
and reversed to make a simple craft tag.

My card has seven panels that are 4x4 inches.
Here are the steps I took to create the base of my card:
 1) Cut 12 x12 Core'dinations Cardstock in yellow into 3 - 4inch strips.
2) Score the strips you made in step one at 4 and 8 inches using a scoring tool.
3) Emboss one left 4"panel and all three of the right 4" panels. Hint: I used some washi
tape to hold the cardstock in place on the embossing folder.
4) To make a continuous folding card, glue one embossed right panel to one smooth
right panel.  Be sure to make these line up!
5) Repeat step 4 so that you now have 7 total panels.
6) Accordian fold the panels.
7) Cut three 2x4 inch pieces of Core'dinaitons and circle punch a divet
mid-way on each of the 2x4 inch strips.
8) Glue the outer edges of the strips cut in step 7 and place on the bottom
of the non-embossed panels.

I have included this photo collage to help more visual crafters.

Making the base for this multi-fold card is quick and easy!

All that is left is decorating the card to make it individualized.
Some of my individualized touches include the flags and poloroid shaped frame using
Core'dinations Cardstock.

Some close-ups of this card...

The flags on my card are simply made by cutting a 1 or 1-1/2 inch strip of
Core'dinations Cardstock.  Just fold the strip in half and use your square punch
to create the banner edge, add a straw and glue halves together.

Thank you for stopping by my blog!
I am hoping that my love of Core'dinations Cardstock is obvious and my creativity shines.

Please be sure to check out my other creations and enjoy your visit.

Your work always shines and I love seeing what you always create with Core'dinations. Your cards and layouts in CSW Distributors booth at Winter CHA 2013 rocked and your work was so much fun to showcase in their booth.
