Hit The Slopes!

Today is definitely a great day for skiers!
We are getting impaled with 1 to 2 feet of snow.
You know it is a blizzard when they talk feet and not inches.

My hubby and girls enjoy hitting the slopes and riding the fluffy white stuff.
Me?  Not so much!

I found these fun pics of Scott and the girls at King Pine in 2007.
This was the first year Lily started skiing and when Kass started snowboarding.
Kass had been skiing for several years at this point and had bought her own snowboard.
Lily was only 8 and, as with all sports, picked it up rather quick.

To create the layout I started with Creative Scrappers Sketch #224.
The scalloped strips are cut out of paper by Pebbles.
I created the snowboard and ski banners by die cutting paper with
Spellbinders Nested Pennants and adding toothpicks.

Supplies:
Cardstock ~ Bazzill
Papers ~ Pebbles, Jillibean Soup, Lily Bee Design
Alphas ~ American Crafts, Cosmo Cricket
Die ~ Spellbinders
Button ~ October Afternoon
Glue ~ Helmar Premium Craft Glue & Zapdots

Holy cow look at how little our Lily is...other than the cold it looks fun though. Love that you used so much color to highlight photo's that aren't so colorful (composition not personality of course).

PS: Hope you're enjoying the blizzard as much as I am :)
