ScrapTiffany Recycled Blog Hop

Hi!  Welcome to my little scrappy web haven &
to the Scrap Tiffany Recycled Blog Hop.
Each one of the ST designers is sharing a recycled project with you.
If this is the first blog you have visited on the hop, please hop on over to Scrap Tiffany to start from the beginning.
Bev - http://beeceecreativity.blogspot.com/
My project started with me cleaning out our basement storage space. There was lots of stuff to throw away,  give away, or recycle.  I found a pile of old picture frames that no longer fit the style our home decor.  This cherry frame reminded me of the 7 gypsies trays I have been seeing everywhere.

Instead of tossing it, I painted it black.
2 coats of thick black paint.
A little sanding here and there.
A coat of poly...
& the plain cherry frame
became a cute frame that
matches my house decor yet again.
But, why stop at that?
I dug into my scrappy stash.
Lots of left over bits of kits
and embellishment packages
were used to finish up my frame.

I really like how this trash to treasure frame turned out.
It is pretty & feminine.  Sure beats that old frame!

I hope you have enjoyed my recycled frame.
Kay is the next stop on the Scrap Tiffany Blog Hop.
I am sure she has something lovely for you to see.

There is a sweet prize for any one of my followers during the blog hop.
So before you leave me to visit Kay,
be sure to become a follower, if you aren't already one,
& leave me a comment that you follow my blog.
(you do not need to be a new follower to be in the drawing for a prize from me)
Happy Hopping!
