Love Birds

Love is all around!  At least in my family.
My sister, Kerry, got married last month.
Her and her wonderful new husband got married on a whim way out in Arizona.
None of us could attend so when they came to visit this week
we took them out to dinner at one of Kerry's favorite restaurants
to share their new marriage and hopes for the future.

How perfect that I wanted a "love" card for this occasion AND
CropStop Challenge Blog's theme this week is love.

"Love Birds"

I used this month's new Becky Fleck Spellbinders to create this card. What a fun new set!
The birds are from Tim Holtz's Caged Birds die. I spruced them up by mixing
Helmar Gemstone Glue and glitter then brushing the mixture on my birds.
A pretty embellished envelope is always a nice touch for a special occasion.
I created this envelope to compliment the card for Kerry and Rodney.

Upload your love inspired creation to CropStop Challenge Blog by next
Wednesday at 11:59 EST to be eligible to win the random prize drawing.
Rules for participation can be found here.
Don't forget there is always a 10% off coupon to the CropStop
store on my side bar!

Congratulations again to Kerry and Rodney!
May your marriage be blessed with children and years of happiness.

Crop Stop No. 36

This week at Crop Stop Challenge Blog
the challenge is to use your Spellbinders Dies.

For my CS Creative Team example, I used my ever
favorite Blossom dies by Spellbinders.

I really like the tone on tone effect in this card.
I took each size blossom and added different texture
to each one, sanded them to bring out the core in the
Core'dinations cardstock, curled the edges of the blossoms
and then gave them dimension by using 3-D pop dots.
