Silly Lily

This past Saturday, Lily and I took some time to do a photo shoot. She is always a ham for the camera and is pretty photogenic.  What I love most about doing photos of her though is her ability to make it fun, be silly and totally true to herself.  Today's layout is composed of just a few of the silly photos from Saturday's shoot.

I knew I wanted the color palette to be blues and greens for this layout.  Blues to pull out the color of Lily's eyes and greens from the photo backgrounds. I spruced up the UmWowStudio chipboard with Distress Paints to match the color palette.  Have you tried this chipboard?  I love it! I'm linking this layout up to Paper Issues Chipboard Link Up.

Supplies:
American Crafts Patterned Paper
Core'dinations Cardstock
UmWowStudio Chipboard
Ranger Distress Paints
October Afternoon Washi Tape
Jillibean Soup Alphas
Xyron Mega Runner

Hope you have a silly day!

Oh So Silly, Oh So Sweet

Hello, Hello!  Today I am in a happy mood.  Happy that spring is finally here in Maine.  As I drove down the street I realized how happy seeing the pink, yellow and green blooms makes me.  Do you know what else makes me happy?  My hubby and youngest daughter being silly together.

These fun pics of Scott & Lily are from last spring.  I finally got around to scrapping them while I was away at the Purity Springs Crop a few weeks ago.

Using lots of Studio Calico, I created this layout.  Nothing complicated.  Just sweet and simple.  The wood veneers by Studio totally make my heart sing.  Aren't the butterflies splendid?

Supplies:
Papers, Banner, Butterfly Veneers ~ Studio Calico
Alphas ~ American Crafts
Bling ~ Kaiser Craft
Glue ~ Helmar Premium Craft Glue & ZapDots

I hope you get to enjoy something that makes you happy today!
