Crop Stop Challenge no.19

this week is to show some highlights or shadows in your project.  

I went simple and understated on my CT card for this challenge.
"Happy Birthday"

The background was created by painting a piece of sticky back
 canvas. To create the branches, I gently brushed the markers on 
my stamps  then stamped on the painted canvas.  
The shadows were created by stamping the same image with 
Versa and then gently applying Perfect Pearls powder.
It really gave it a soft, shadowy effect.
