Apple Picking Time!

We live in apple country.  Within a 1/2 mile radius

of our house we have three apple orchards and another

 three within ten miles.  We go apple picking every year.

It is a tradition we love! This year we went

to Smith's Apple Orchard. 

Lily is the queen of apple picking.

She knows when an apple is just right.

MacIntosh apple.

Kass & Chase didn't pick any apples.

I think she really came along for the photo ops.  

These girls, Jenny(r) and Elizabeth(l), are so full of personality!

Just had to add this smiley-faced picture of Lily.  

Lily & I made my infamous apple crisp the other day.

It was filled with the apples we picked 

and sugar

and butter.

Yum.
