I love to watch Lily in motion. Whether it be soccer, swim, or dance, she is fun to watch.
She is such a sprite. Small and fast and graceful.
Scott found it more difficult this year to get photos of the girls on the bigger field, not surrounded by opponents. That is why I love the middle picture of Lily in this layout. No opponent, just her in motion.

I really took her great sketch to the next level by utilizing
the space designed for 3 photos and using 11 photos.
I wanted to use all these photos from the day my

We live in apple country. Within a 1/2 mile radius
of our house we have three apple orchards and another
three within ten miles. We go apple picking every year.
It is a tradition we love! This year we went

Lily came home from school with this assignment book:
It was ugly and too big she said. She wanted a new one.
I didn't want to spend the money.
So I took it apart, cut it down and then put it back together.
Gone is the 8.5" x 11" inch ugly assignment book!

We refinished a room for Lily this past spring.
She has her own little haven down in the basement.
Part of her room decor has always been altered frames
with pictures of her friends. As we were decorating the walls
in her new space, I noticed that she needed some updated

I have buttons!

For my Crop Stop CT card for this challenge, I chose
to use buttons for a simple embellishment.
I think the buttons give the card a bit of "pop."
To create the 3-dimensional star, I just used my
Scor-Pal to score at every point of the green star.

Sometimes simple is good.
It is hard to believe that Kass and Alyssa (Kass' childhood BFF) are heading off to college in less than a month. When scrapping these photos I was reminded of a much simpler time. Boys made them giggle and makeup was minimal. I love that this layout reflects a time of youth and happiness.

This week I decided it need a little updating and a face lift.
The image & quote have been scotch taped to the front of the composition book since its inception. I wanted to use that as the focal point of the cover. I am very happy with the results.
